About this Shrine

Located in the city of Ichihara, Chiba Prefecture, Tenjin-sama Shrine is dedicated to the god of learning and literature, Susanoo-no-Mikoto's brother, Fujin, but also has Tenjin as its main kami for good fortune and prosperity.
