About this Shrine

Located in the historic town of Matsue, Miyajima Island in Shimane Prefecture is home to the revered early-morning grain god shrine of Asahiyama Shrine's neighboring shrine, Oikunisan, and the more widely known Asahiyama Shrine in nearby Izumo City.
