About this Shrine

Located in Gunma Prefecture, the Shinmei Red Castle Shrine is dedicated to the legendary founder of the Kamakura shogunate, Minamoto no Yoritomo's brother, Sanetomo, and also enshrines the god of war, Hachiman.
